Shared from the Archdiocese of Dubuque Family Matters Newsletter:
Dyslexia is a fairly common, yet misunderstood learning disability. Rachel Mosher, St. Mary, Eldora, parishioner and a mother of three children with dyslexia, shares that for some youth, school can be a challenge and a heartache, as many educators aren’t trained to support dyslexic children. Rachel shares the story of her family’s experiences with dyslexia, and the valuable information she has learned through these experiences. Read Rachel’s story here, and watch a helpful video she has created about dyslexia here.
